The DAISY Foundation has appointed Cynthia D. Sweeney, RN, MSN, CNOR, NEA-BC, as its first executive director.
Sweeney worked for the past eight years for the American Nurse Credentialing Center’s products and services team, where she developed new course content, oversaw the National Magnet Conference and Pathway to Excellence Conference, assisted in the development of this year’s inaugural Board Certification Conference, developed corporate partnerships and conceptualized Certified Nurses Day, according to a news release.
