Bringing their health care knowledge and passion, nearly 430 participants in the American Nurses Association’s Hill Day were meeting today with members of Congress and their staff to advocate on key issues, with a major focus on protecting all patients’ access to affordable, quality health care.
Before heading to Capitol Hill, nurse advocates attended a breakfast briefing, where they received up-to-date information on health care legislative actions and were welcomed by ANA President Pamela F. Cipriano, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN.
